MADISONVILLE, Ky. — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to begin nighttime crack sealing operations along Interstate 165 in Ohio County Monday. This will prevent moisture from entering the pavement and will help preserve the roadway’s existing surface.
Reynolds Sealing and Striping will perform this mobile operation on both northbound and southbound lanes of I-165 Monday through Thursday of next week, working from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Lane restrictions will be in place in the area where work is being conducted.
The work zone will run from 47.8 to 52.9-mile points in both directions.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment and personnel are along the roadway near traffic flow.
