BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Wanda H. Patton, 93, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Dec. 19, 1930, in Butler County, Kentucky, to the late Sedley and Bunnie L. Shultz Harreld.

Wanda was a member of Point Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church in the Little Bend Community of Butler County. She was the matriarch of her family, homemaker, and co-owner of Patton Farms, established in 1950. Wanda loved traveling, quilting, sewing, watching UK basketball, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Randolph Patton, in 1995 and five brothers, Kyle Harreld, Cedric Harreld, Thornton Harreld, Maurice Harreld, and Ray Harreld.

She leaves behind to cherish many precious memories, four children, Charlotte (Robert) Coppage, of Hartford, Kentucky, Allen (Cheryl) Patton, of Beaver Dam, Charles (Angie) Patton, of Beaver Dam, and Elizabeth Sparks, of Beaver Dam; one sister, Barbara Johnson, of Belleville, Illinois; and two sisters-in-law, Virginia Harreld, of Cleveland, Ohio, and Norma Harreld, of Indianapolis, Indiana. Wanda was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Robert Allen (Blake) Coppage, Mark (Shavonne) Coppage, Joshua (Elizabeth) Coppage, Demetria (Patrick) Tucker, Scott (Kanita) Patton, Erin (Troy) Vick, Hillori (Shane) Allen, Travis (Lisa) Patton, Kortni (Jamey) Mattingly, Stephen (Shelby) Patton, Alex (Kristian) Patton and Cody Sparks, and 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. David Hocker and Bro. Jaret Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Wanda’s family from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
