HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Harold Phillip Wade, 71, of Horse Branch, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at his home. He was born on Sept. 8, 1952, in Whiting, Indiana, to the late Harley Wade and Mary Sanders Renfrow.
Phillip was a member of Horse Branch Christian Church and he retired from Green River Steel where he worked as an electrician. He enjoyed playing golf, sitting outside on his carport, and watching UK Basketball.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Wade.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, his daughters, Stephanie (Brian) LaPointe, of Elizabeth, Indiana, and April (Timothy) Hayes, of Leavenworth, Kansas; and 10 grand-dogs and 3 grand-cats.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with Phillip’s family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation in Phillip’s memory to Friends of the Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 7, Hartford, KY 42320. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
