**UPDATE** HARTFORD, Ky. (5/10/24) — The boil water advisory issued May 8 for customers along KY 136 E has been lifted by the Kentucky Division of Water.

HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Water District has lifted a May 8 Boil Water Advisory issued for customers along KY 136 E west of Heflin Road to the Ohio County line.
According to Eric Hickman, general manager for the OCWD, distribution crews are made an emergency repair on a 4″ water main along KY 136 E near Johnson Ln.
A Boil Water Advisory was issued out of precaution for around 70 customers in the following areas:
- KY 136 E west of Heflin Road to the county line,
- Wilderness Road,
- Johnson Ln.,
- Locks Road,
- and Raymond Curry Road
