BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Richard “Thad” Embry, 56, entered into his heavenly home the morning of Wednesday, April 24, 2024. He was born on May 18th, 1967 to Hubert(Joanie) Embry and Mavis Embry.
Thad was a member of the Living Faith Baptist Church and Local Union 1076. He loved spending time with his family, enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time on the family farm with his dog, Ash.
He is forever remembered by his loving wife of 36 years, Lori Alvey Embry; his son, Cody (Lindsey) Embry; his daughter, Kelsey Embry; and his grandchildren Brantley Embry and Brynlee Embry.
He also leaves behind his two sisters, Pamela (Dwayne) Bratcher and Cathy (Matt) Calloway, and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Living Faith Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Hillard and Bro. Troy Richards officiating Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hartford, Kentucky. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is in charge of arrangements. The Family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the ALS Association in Memory of Thad Embry.
