WILMORE, Ky. — Elbert Lowell Tarrants, 74, of Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was born in Greenville, Kentucky, on June 14, 1949, to the late Paul Tarrants and Annetta Frances Harper Tarrants.
Elbert was an Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by a son, Warner Brown Tarrants, and a sister, Lillian Eileen Tarrants.
Survivors include two sisters, Sarah (Joe) Bailey and Shannon Lagay Tarrants, and two brothers, Paul Wayne (Mary Ellen) Tarrants and Steven Lynn Tarrants.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Bobby Nichols Golf Course (4301 E. Pages Lane, Louisville, KY 40272). The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of service.
