BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Bruce Lake Ball, 68, of Beaver Dam, passed away March 29, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 23, 1955, in Hartford, Kentucky, and grew up in Echols, Kentucky.
A true cowboy, Bruce always had his cowboy hat on. He enjoyed classic cars, riding horses, going camping, fishing, and hunting, which he was able to do this past season. Spending time with his grandchildren brought him immense joy.
Bruce is preceded in death by his mother, Hazel B. Simpson, and stepfather, Presley Simpson.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Deanna; children, Kelly (Billy Willis) Ball, Tonya (Kevin) Lindsey, Bruce W. (Krystal) Ball, and Zachary (Desirea) Ball; stepchildren, Timothy Kilzer, Dynah (Dru) Sistrunk, and Greg Kilzer; siblings, Terry (Pam) Ball, Barry (Gaynell) Ball, Lenny Simpson (Felicia), and Lisa Macy; and 17 grandchildren, and three great-grandchild.
A memorial celebration of life will be held on April 20, at McHenry Baptist Church, 75 State Route 1245, McHenry, KY 42354, at 12 p.m. with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
