FORDSVILLE, Ky. — Joshua Tad Sutherland, 43, of Fordsville, died Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
He had attended Ohio County High School, was a construction welder, and member of Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church in Hartford, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, Shawnee Young Sutherland, of Fordsville; his parents, Alvin Coy Sutherland, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Cheryl Fitzgerald, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; children, Trenton (Kamryn) Sutherland, Ashton Rose, Savannah Preston, Dakota Shultz, Dallas Shultz, and Madison Coppage, all of Fordsville, Kylie Taylor, of Hawesville, Kentucky, and Damon Jones, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; sister, Dawn Sutherland (Robbie Galloway), of Owensboro; mother-in-law, Hilda Young, of Owensboro; and nine grandchildren, a niece and a nephew; and family and friends.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Geary Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pattiville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
