BREMEN, Ky. — With a broken heart and no words to describe the pain we are feeling, Christopher “Eric” May, 39, of Bremen, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in Moorman, Kentucky. Born Jan. 6, 1985, in Hopkins County, Kentucky.

Eric was employed at Cal Maine Foods in Bremen for eight years as an equipment operator.

Eric loved to hunt for fossils and rocks. He collected lots of stuff – bottles, pennies, anything old. He loved to fish and most of all he loved his yellow jeep like his MOM’s.

“MAY” is what all his friends called him. If they called needing his help he was always there.

Eric’s favorite place was Nana’s garage. That’s where he spent most of his time just piddling around.

Eric was preceded in death by his Mamaw, Norva Fields, who he loved tremendously.

Left to cherish his memory are Eric’s mother, Cindy (Brett) Lovins, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; brother, Ryan Word (Joycelyn), of Greenville, Kentucky; aunt, Tammy May, of Bremen; uncles, John May, of Beaver Dam, and Jimmy May, of Bremen; cousins, David Noffsinger (Trinity), of Central City, Kentucky, and Micheal Noffsinger (Jessica), of Bremen; and his niece and nephew, Kenzley and Keston.

Memorial services will be held with family and close friends at a later date. Burial will be private. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
