MADISONVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Transportation Department advises motorists of rail mowing to clear brush along I-165 northbound, spanning from the County Road Overpass to the Daviess County Line. This routine maintenance is essential to ensure visibility.

The work is scheduled to start tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 14, and end on Tuesday, Feb. 20, between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. daily.

Crews will use three rail mowers to clear the brush. Traffic control measures will be implemented to ensure the safety of both motorists and workers.

Motorists must proceed cautiously in the designated work zone and adhere to all posted signage. Delays may be experienced during peak travel times, so motorists are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly.
