CROMWELL, Ky. — Merlon D. Dukes, 54, of Cromwell, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on Sept. 27, 1969, in Leitchfield, Kentucky, to the late James Darrell and Rosetta F. Monroe Dukes.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Freddie Sanders. and one brother-in-law, J.T. Taylor.
He leaves behind to cherish many memories, four brothers, Speed (Teresa) Dukes, of Russellville, Kentucky, Scott Dukes, of Cromwell, James Dukes, of Cromwell, Joe (Joey) Sanders, of Illinois; and two sisters, Melinda Taylor, of Rosine, Kentucky, and Bertha King, of Arkansas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Private family services will be held at a later date. William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam has been entrusted with the care of Mr. Dukes.
