SMYRNA, Tenn. — Perry Lee Ingram, 60, of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, at his home after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Born in Hartford, Kentucky, he was the son of Robert Ingram and the late June Perry Ingram.
Perry was a member of Christ Community Church, a U.S. Army veteran, and a quality supervisor with Nissan.
Perry is survived by his wife of 22 years, Mellanie Jarrell Ingram; father, Robert Ingram, and his wife, Geraldean, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; children, Zack (Katie) Ingram, of Jasper, Alabama, Tessa (Justin) Hendrix, Stephanie (Andy) Nall, of all of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Mason (Rachelle) Jarrell, of Smyrna, Tyler (Mariya) Jarrell, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Kasey (Danielle) Jarrell, of Smyrna, and Mitch (Emily) Brown, of Hartford; 16 grandchildren; and a sister, Deedee (Scott) Daniel, of Beaver Dam.
Visitation with the family will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Christ Community Church 1334 B Hazelwood Drive in Smyrna. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday following the visitation at the church with Pastor Bryan Bratcher officiating. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Echols Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Friends and church family will serve as pallbearers.
