HARTFORD, Ky. — Karen Ruth Taylor Funk, 63, of Hartford, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, at her home. Karen was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Nancy Wedding Taylor and the late Donald Taylor.
Karen was a manager at Long John Silvers in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, she loved the beach and the Long John Silvers staff. Her world was all about Christopher and Katy.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Nathaniel Funk.
Survivors include her son, Christopher (Dakota) Amiot-Funk; her daughter, Katheryn Funk; her mother, Nancy Taylor; her brother, Donald Todd (Tamara) Taylor; and her sister, Anita Young (Jerry).
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Eddie Harpole and Bro. Mark Payton officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
