BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Milton L. Addington, 75, of Beaver Dam, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at OHRH in Owensboro, Kentucky. Milton was born on Aug. 19, 1948, in Centertown, Kentucky, to the late Earl James and Girtie Jackson Addington.
Milton was owner-operator of M & B Auto Parts in Hartford, Kentucky, and had been in the auto parts business since 1970. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and had served as a deacon there, he was a Gideon and attended Pond Run Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Briley Rylan Addington and Brinley Reese Addington; a brother, Carl Addington; a niece, Brenda Addington Neal; and a nephew, Jeff Blankenship.
Survivors include his wife of 52 ½ years, Sherry Magan Addington; his son, Brian (Jennifer) Addington; two brothers, Valkye (Alice) Addington, Alton (Elaine) Addington; four sisters, Ruby (Ray) Evans, Vonell (Bill) Kirk, Sheila (Mike) Loney, and Elmeta Blankenship; honorary grandchild, Owen Williams; also several nieces and nephews.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Byron Priar, Bro. Doc Crowe and Dr. Glenn Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Thursday.
