MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Robert Lee “Bobby” Henderson, 60, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, at his residence. He was born on Sunday, March 31, 1963, in Butler County, Kentucky, to the union of the late OC and Hazel Garner Henderson.
Bobby enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his children and all his family, and his dog, BoBo.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one son, Cody Smith; two brothers, Mickey and John Henderson; one sister, Rebecca Mudd; and two brothers-in-law, Danny Gibson and Terry Ray Jr.
Robert Lee “Bobby” Henderson is survived by one son, Dustin Dockery (Shelby), of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; two daughters, Alyssa Turner (Adam), of Morgantown, and Brittany Hudnall (Matt), of Morgantown; companion and best friend, Wendy Smith Whitmer, of Morgantown; 14 grandchildren; three sisters, Belinda Gibson, of Caneyville, Kentucky, Sonya Henderson, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Tonya Ray, of Greenville, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Stacy Henderson, of Morgantown; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Darryl Dockery officiating. Burial will be in the Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
