HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an armed robbery occurring around 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the Raceway Market in McHenry.
According to Ohio County Sheriff Adam Wright, deputies arrived on the scene minutes after the call and determined that an unknown male subject, who wore a mask and gloves, entered the store brandishing a firearm. The thief was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of money. Deputies, detectives and K-9s were called to the scene to assist with the investigation.
The OCOS is asking the general public for help in identifying the male subject.
The subject is a white male suspected to be driving a black Mercedes. He was last seen driving eastbound on U.S. 62 W heading towards Beaver Dam.
