REYNOLDS STATION, Ky. — Robert “Bob” Dalton, 86, of Reynolds Station, left his Earthly home on Nov. 25, 2023, to be with his Heavenly Father.
Robert was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Sarah, with whom he celebrated 65 years of marriage. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Robert was a retiree of Commonwealth Aluminum, where he worked for 30 years. He was a faithful member of Newton Springs Baptist Church.
Robert enjoyed a good day’s work, hunting and fishing, woodworking, his tractors, gardening, Gospel bluegrass music and his adored pets. He was truly a pillar to his family and loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Grant and Vilene Dalton, and brothers, Ollie, Sidney and Wendell Dalton.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Dalton (Jackson); his brothers, Calvin Dalton and Melvin Dalton; sister, Mary Ruth (John) Fawcett; sisters-in-law, Sandra and Linda; his children, Bobby Dalton and Cathy Quisenberry; his grandchildren, Alan Quisenberry, Tammy (Preston) White, Brian (Heather) Quisenberry and Brittany (Aaron) Monroe; his great-grandchildren, Destiny, Nikolas, Gracie, Zane, Tanner, Addison, Andrew and Evelee; his honorary grandkids, Kristen and Jackson Creech; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, at Geary Funeral Home with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Pattiville. Visitation will be 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
