HORSE BRANCH, Ky. — Ronald Gene Embry, 70, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. He was born July 30, 1953, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to the late Everett and Louise Purkhiser Embry.
Ron was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death also by his wife, Paula Lynette Embry, and father-in-law, Conward Frame.
Ron is survived by his daughter, Amanda Embry; sister, Linda (Roger) Suddeth; brother, Michael (Jeannie Diakosis) Embry; and mother-in-law, Rena Frame.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky, with Bro. Steven Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery near Cromwell, Kentucky.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
