BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Sara Jane Autry Pugh, 76, passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023, at The Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was born Oct. 20, 1946, in Ohio County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Henry Carson and Prudie Mae Evans Autry.
Sara loved flowers and had them everywhere.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall G. Pugh; brothers, Henry Carson Autry Jr., Oscar Kenneth, Millard Owen, Ricky Leon, and Johnny, and sisters, Donna Mae, Mary Ruth, Anna Marie, and Bonnie Gaynell.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey R.(Phyllis) Pugh and Jason D. Pugh; two grandsons, Jakeb and Chase; two sisters, Barbara Carol Downey and Shirley Rose Autry; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Jay Raymond and Bro. Conner Raymond officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Friday at the funeral home.
