HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Family Wellness Center held “Delbert Gray Day” in honor of the gym’s long-time member who will be celebrating his 100th birthday this month.

Gray, a World War II veteran, will turn 100 years old on Oct. 10 and has been a member of the FWC since the fitness facility opened over 20 years ago visiting multiple times every week for his morning workout.

There was a cornhole tournament, Ohio County Healthcare brought out their MAC Mobile, a 3-point shooting contest, cooking demonstrations, and the Ohio County Honor Guard presented the colors for the day.

The FWC officially renamed its fitness room after Gray because it’s where you could find him most mornings getting his workout. The Ohio County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting in honor of the official opening of the Delbert Gray Fitness room at the facility.
