HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of a possible scam that could affect Ohio Countians.

According to Ohio County Sheriff Adam Wright, citizens are reporting to his office that they are receiving a call from someone claiming to be with pre-trial services and providing the victim with a phone number to call back.

It’s highly unlikely that someone with pre-trial services will ever call you. If you receive any suspicious calls, do not give them any personal information.

You can report the suspicious calls to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office at 270-298-4444.
