OC Health Coalition to host mental health lunch and learn series

HARTFORD, Ky — The Ohio County Health Coalition will host the Ohio County Mid-Week Mental Health Lunch and Learn Series beginning Sept. 6. Each of the lunch and learn trainings will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Ohio County Cooperative Extension Office.

Mark your calendars for an exciting collaboration to educate the community, including professionals and agencies that work with youth and adults, on the topic of mental health. The mental health lunch and learn series will be touching on various topics concerning mental health, including suicide prevention, substance abuse and youth mental health.

Trauma Informed Care – Sept. 6

Speakers will be Brooke Arnold and Marsha Lowery from River Valley Behavioral Health. Sponsored by: RVBH

Mental Health Resources Ohio County – Oct. 25

Speakers will be Tony Cecil with Ohio County Care & River Valley Crisis Team. Sponsored by: Ohio County Hospital

Youth Mental Health – Nov. 15
