HARTFORD, Ky. — Helen “Renee” McKinney, 52, of Hartford, passed away Thursday, Aug. 10, 2023, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born April 8, 1971, in Paducah, Kentucky, to Mary Helen Jones Berryman and the late William Wallace.
Aside from her father, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Abel McKinney, and her birth father, Donald Reynolds.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, two children, Kendra Howard (Garrett Calloway), of Fordsville, Kentucky, and Brett McKinney, of Hartford; grandson, Atticus McKinney; mother, Mary Berryman, of Hartford; sister, Dondra (Chad) Renfrow, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; brother, William “Billy” Wallace II, of Louisville, Kentucky; five nieces and nephews, Jacob, Justin, Canaan, Moses, Malachi, Meadow, and Glory; and significate other, Kent Howard.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Jerry Bratcher officiating. Friends may visit with Renee’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
