BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Terry S. Hayse, 57, of Beaver Dam, died Sunday, July 23, 2023, with his family by his side at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born June 13, 1966, to the late Jerry D. Hayse and Vina Lindsey Hayse.
To know Terry was to know his big smile and his big laugh. Always the jokester, Terry rarely met a stranger. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially enjoying time listening to live music around a bonfire.
Terry worked several jobs in construction throughout his life, but he particularly enjoyed working as a chef in his later years.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Hayse and Patricia Kessinger, and a brother, Eric Hayse.
Terry is survived by his partner of 13 years, Paula Sanders; his children, Jerry David Hayse II, of Beaver Dam, Shelta Dawn Hayse, of Hartford, Kentucky, Tony Sanders, Tinika (Aaron) Sanders, Tosha (Aaron) Sanders, all of Beaver Dam; brothers, Larry (Kathy) Hayse, of Hartford, Michael (Holly) Hayse, of Beaver Dam, Barry (Linda) Hayse, of Missouri; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 28, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Rev. Bruce Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Cromwell, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Terry’s family from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
