HARTFORD, Ky. — Maureta L. Allen, 76, of Hartford, died Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Hartford Signature Healthcare. She was born in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Homer Vernon and Geneva Lois Farmer Stewart.
Maureta was a member of Hartford Christian Church. She loved music, dancing, and jewelry.
Maureta was a mother and grandmother to many.
She has a brother and sister surviving also-Glendon Stewart and Ann Snodgrass.
Services will be 5 p.m. Thursday, July 27, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. With Mike Erwin and Les Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Maureta Allen Memorial Fund c/o Bevil Bros. Funeral Home.
