HARTFORD, Ky. — David Lee Wright, 78, of Hartford, passed away peacefully entering eternal life Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born Oct. 26, 1944, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Oscar Wright and Stella Long Thompson.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Elton Wright, and sisters, Virginia Ashford and Hazel Poe.
Survivors include two daughters, Cassandra G. Noe and Rhonda K. Mahaffey, both of Greenville, South Carolina; two brothers, Milton (Gail) Wright, of Hartford, and John Wright, of Olaton, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Justin Baber, Ashton Gaskin, and Amanda Mahaffey, all of South Carolina; and two great-grandchildren, Indie and Lily Baber. He was also loved by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
