BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Kathy Lynn White, 53, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born Dec. 21, 1969, in Hartford, Kentucky, to the Tommy Willoughby and the late Sue Holland Willoughby.
Kathy was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and doting on her grandchildren. Her strong will and fighting spirit was admired by all who met her. No matter how sick she felt during her year-and-a-half-long battle with cancer, she remained optimistic and fought hard until the very end. As described by one of her nurses at the Heartford House, “Kathy does not fit into any one box”. She truly was one of a kind and will be missed tremendously.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Holland Willoughby.
Kathy was formerly married to Wayne R. White and together they raised three daughters, Pamela Willoughby (Chad Wilson), Michelle White (Ben Roach), and Tonya White (Matthew Arnold); four grandchildren, Gracie May Quisenberry, Tanner Quisenberry, Abby Sue Roach, Briar Lee Roach; father, Tommy Willoughby; two brothers, Tommy (Jenny) Willoughby and Rodney (Margaret) Willoughby; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 3, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Bro. Brent Howard officiating. Burial will follow in New Harmony Cemetery in Butler County, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Kathy’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home.
