McHENRY, Ky. — Charles Phillip “Chuck” Wortham passed away on June 13, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on May 10, 1951, in McHenry, Charles dedicated his life to creating a legacy of ambition, love, and hard work. As Helen Keller once said, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” Chuck Wortham embodied this spirit throughout his life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

Chuck, a devoted husband, father, and brother, cherished the time spent with his family. An ambitious man, Charles spent his career as a dedicated truck driver, retiring with pride and a sense of accomplishment.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Wortham; his children, April Wortham, Sarah Tucker, James Tucker, and Nathaniel Tucker; his brothers, Kevin Wortham, Mark (Lois) Wortham, and Dennis (Barbara) Wortham; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Bud (Cindy) Schroader, Kathy Hancock, Bob (Susan) Schroader, Mike (Kim) Moss, and Lynn Schroader Jr.; and his father-in-law, Lynn Schroader Sr..

The family invites you to celebrate Chuck Wortham’s life at a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, July 8, at 11:30 am CDT, located at 4047 Bethel Chruch Road, Beaver Dam, Kentucky 42320. As we remember Chuck, we encourage all who attend to share stories of his captivating presence and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.
