ROSINE, Ky. — The Rosine Park Spring Festival will celebrate its 50th anniversary this weekend at the Rosine Community Park.
The celebration begins at 6 p.m. tonight, June 9, with a performance from the incredible King’s Highway. The concession stand will be open selling delicious food and drinks. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy a beautiful night of great music.
The fun conitnues tomorrow, June 10, with food, events and music all day long.
The day starts at 7 a.m. with the famous country breakfast, followed by lunch at 11 a.m. The concession stand will be serving BBQ pork and mutton sandwiches, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, loaded nachos, popcorn, chips, drinks, ice cream, snow cones and much more.
Other events include a car cruise-in, a live auction, a beauty pageant, a cornhole and washers tournament, a turtle race for kids and a cake walk.
There will also be plenty of kids’ games, food and music, plus vendors will be set up all day Saturday.
For those who want to remember the event, 50th anniversary t-shirts will be for sale all day long.
The weather will be excellent, so come out and celebrate with the city of Rosine. It’s going to be a festival to remember.
