BEAVER DAM, Ky. — William Nelson Evans, 50, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023, in Hartford, Kentucky. He was born in Ohio County, Kentucky. on Jan. 14, 1973.
He loved to spend time with his children, riding motorcycles, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosanna Bratcher Evans.
William is survived by his wife, Becky Evans, of Beaver Dam; children, William Evans, of Morgantown, Kentucky, Brittany Evans, of Beaver Dam, Bonnie Gilstrap, of Owensboro, Kentucky, and Candice Daugherty (Dakota), of Whitesville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Kayla Gilstrap, Macy Gilstrap, Joshua Snyder, and Tiffany Moore; father, Nelson Evans, of Fordsville, Kentucky; brother, Hobart Evans, of Owensboro, Kentucky; and sister, Rosa Kelly, of Horse Branch, Kentucky
A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 5, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Rosine, Kentucky. All services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Morgantown.
