GRDHD community health assessment forum for Ohio County tomorrow May 24

In Local, News by OC Monitor Staff

OWENSBORO, Ky. — The Green River District Health Department will hold a series of community health assessment forums throughout the Green River District the week of May 22-25.

In April, the GRDHD conducted its latest community health assessment. The assessment includes a survey collecting information from community members on what they feel are the community’s most concerning health needs.

Now that the data from the surveys have been collected, it will now be analyzed by the community partners to determine the area’s health priorities over the next several years.

To better analyze the data collected, the GRDHD will hold a series of community health assessment forums over the week of May 22-25.

During the forums, the survey results will be discussed along with secondary data related to this region.  Participants will also be able to give feedback on the data and future direction of community health improvement plans.
