CROMWELL, Ky. — Pauline Phelps Baize, 86, of Cromwell, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Beaver Dam Nursing & Rehab. She was born April 9, 1937, in Ohio County, Kentucky, to the late Guy Fulton and Donna Douglas Fulton.

Pauline retired from the Hartford Water Plant and was a dedicated member of Oak Grove Church of God.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, OD Phelps; sons-in-law, David Nichols, and Bill Black; grandson, Joseph Phelps; and several siblings.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, seven children, Ricky (Kathy) Phelps, of Cromwell, Terry (Lisa) Phelps, of Cromwell, Sherrell Phelps, of Cromwell, Vickie Nichols, of Henderson, Kentucky, Cindy (Greg) Embrey, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, Keta Black, of Beaver Dam, and Carol (Scott) Frizell, of Hartford; 18 grandchildren, Derek (Tracy) Phelps, Raven (Phillip) Reynolds, Monica Porter, Brent Phelps, Joshua (Carrie) Phelps, Mallory (Bryson) Spears, Tyler Phelps, Hunter Phelps, Noah Phelps, Dillon (BB) Nichols, Quentin (Stacy) Embrey, Adrian Embrey, Brittney Black, Adam (Skye) Black, Bryson Black, Cage Frizzell, Zach Frizzell, and Garrett Frizzell; several great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Billy (Mary) Fulton, of Cromwell, Owen Fulton, of Cromwell, Danny (Margie) Fulton, of Cromwell, Lena (Arnold) McKenney, of Cromwell, and Reba Juvrud, of Cromwell.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Oak Grove Church of God, 10358 Hwy 505 South, Cromwell, Kentucky with Rev. Steve Leach and Rev. Earnest Whitely officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery in Cromwell. Friends may visit with Pauline’s family from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday at William L. Danks Funeral Home and from 9 AM until the time of the service Monday at Oak Grove Church of God.
