GRADD to host Bridging the Great Generational Divide May 5

OWENSBORO, Ky. — The Green River Community Collaboration for Children is hosting a free training event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 5, 2023, at HIS Church at 4810 Frederica Street in Owensboro. Individuals can register for the free training by calling or emailing Libby Watson at 270-852-1338 and libbywatson@gradd.com.

The training has been titled Bridging the Great Generational Divide and will feature Dr. Anton Reece, President of West Kentucky Community & Technical College.

Dr. Reece will provide insight into effective communication between various generations and understand why differences exist between generations.

The afternoon session will feature Kentucky State Trooper, Corey King, who will provide information on current cyber safety concerns, including social media and A.I. technology.

The training is free and open to all. A light breakfast will be provided, with participants having the opportunity to explore their own lunch options in Owensboro.

Funding for this training is in whole or in part from federal, Cabinet for Health and Family Services, or other state funds.
