CANEYVILLE, Ky. — Brian Charles Bobbitt, 54, of Caneyville, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at his residence. Brian was born on Thursday, June 13, 1968, in Rantoul, Illinois, to the union of the late Charles A. and Diane Ackerman Bobbitt.
He enjoyed working on cars, watching Ghost Hunters on TV, and spending time with family.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one nephew, Bradlee Bobbitt.
Brian Charles Bobbitt is survived by his wife, Rita Lang, of Caneyville; one son, Zachery Bobbitt (Jo), of Caneyville; six stepchildren, Jordan Hornickel (Tim), of Chenoa, Illinois, Jacqueline Aguinaga (Albert), of Arizona, Courtney Decker (Jake), of Pontiac, Illinois, Timothy Lang, of Caneyville, Ashley Lang, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Alyssa Lang, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Denise Green (Kevin), of Chenoa; one brother, Kevin Bobbitt (Nikki Smith), of Chenoa; and four nephews and three nieces.
Funeral services will be held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Tuesday, April 11, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be on Monday, April 10, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Tuesday 8 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
