HARTFORD, Ky. — Alma Geary, 94, of Hartford died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, at her home. She was born in Highview, Kentucky, to the late Everett and Lelia Bryant Childers Phelps.
Alma was owner of Granny’s Country Crafts, an avid quilter, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Seabury Lee Geary.
Survivors include two sons, Richard L. Geary and Charles R. (Kim) Geary; three daughters, Markeda Tichenor, Rita Eskridge, and Betty S. (Robert) Miller; a brother, Jerry Phelps; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Greg Hillard officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam.
