
Maneard retired from Thomas Industries and later worked at Dunaway Timber. He was a member of Sugar Grove Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and farming.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Chloe McCaslin Geary; a son, Marvin Geary; and three brothers, Willard Geary, Cecil Geary, and Leonard Geary.
Survivors include two sons, Maneard Leon (Ronda) Geary, Stacey Lynn Geary; four brothers, Donald (Sarah) Geary, Charlie (Kay) Geary, Glen (Carolyn) Geary, and Thomas Geary; three sisters, Lilly (Jay) Phelps, Martha (Kenny) Simpson, Debra Mae (Terry) Jones; and six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Bro. Glen Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Horse Branch Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
