Opioid overdose prevention training set for Mar. 15 includes free Narcan

HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County KY-ASAP is inviting Ohio Countians to a lunch and learn on opioid overdose prevention and Narcan training at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, at the Ohio County Extension Office.

Those attending will learn the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose, the use of Narcan, the current drug supply and ways to prevent misuse. Plus, those attending will receive a free box of Narcan.

The lunch and learn is presented by Kayley Edelen, a collaboration specialist at RiverValley Behavioral Health Regional Prevention Center, in association with the Ohio County KY-ASAP.
