CENTERTOWN, Ky. — Stella Bishop, 76, passed away on Jan. 29, 2023, at OHRH in Owensboro, Kentucky. She was born in Centertown on May 9, 1946, daughter of the late William “Bill” and Retha “Myrl” Duvall English.
Stella was a member of Centertown United Methodist Church and had worked as a CNA at Professional Care Home in Hartford, Kentucky.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Lou English Miller.
Survivors include her husband, Truman Bishop; son, Timmy; granddaughter, Madelin Holley (Tyler); great-granddaughter, Emerson Holley; brother, Albert R. English (Greta); and sister, Mirtie M. English.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, at Walton Creek Cemetery with Bro. Dale Carden officiating. Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is in charge of arrangements.
