GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Shonia Mae Lynn Holland, 44, of Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, in Greenville, Kentucky. She was born June 7, 1978, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Karen Geary Kiper and the late Harold Holland.
She was lodging manager for the United States Air Force.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory three children, Hunter Lindsey, of Greenville, Hannah Holland (Braden) Glaze, of Goldsboro, and Rosella Howard, of Goldsboro; grandson, August Glaze; mother, Karen (Kenny) Kiper, of Greenville; three brothers, David (Sophia) Holland, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Brian (Natalie) Holland, of Morgantown, Kentucky, and Kevin Holland, of Hartford, Kentucky; and her significant other, Sean Howard, of Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky with Uncle Steven Geary officiating. Burial will follow in Echols Cemetery in Echols, Kentucky. Friends may visit with Shonia’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
