My name is Stacia Himes Cole and I am running for a second term on the Hartford City Council. I have lived in Hartford my entire life, minus the two years my husband was in the military and we lived in San Antonio.
I have been married to Jason Cole for 25 years and we have three children. I am active in my community both personally and professionally. I have been active in Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts as a den leader and with Together We Care for several years. I have been on the high school advisory council as a community representative for 11 years and was an Ohio County Band Booster for five years. I currently work for a state agency that assists individuals with limitations to gain employment. I am a former substance use counselor.
I have served on the Ohio County ASAP board and the Ohio County Mental Health and Ohio County Health Coalitions. I volunteer my time to participate in many community activities.
Some of my passions for Hartford are beautification, community involvement, moving forward with the Ellis Park Project and coordinating with the economic development committee to bring new activities to Hartford. I humbly ask for your support and your vote for my second term.
Thank you!
