**UPDATE*** HARTFORD, Ky. — The Ohio County Water District has lifted the Boil Water Advisory for customers along Rochester Rd., as well as other customers in that area.
OCWD distribution crews completed an emergency repair on a 6″ mainline feeding the Echols booster station. After making the repairs, two valves feeding this line failed causing the repairs to be delayed. The line failure was repaired and the two valves were replaced enabling the OCWD to feed its Echols booster station. Crews put in 36 hours of work to make the repairs.
A Boil Water Advisory was issued, but is now lifted, for customers along Rochester Rd., Apple House Rd., Nineteen School Rd., Schultztown Rd., a portion of KY 269/Prentiss Rd., Cool Springs Rd., Old Cabin Ln., Highview Ln., Union Hill Rd., Scottown Rd., Fulkerson Rd., Pond Run Church Rd., Happy Hollow Rd., Mosgrove Ln. and Burge Ln.
Around 290 customers were affected by this Boil Water Advisory.
