BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Margaret Glendenning, 95, of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at Signature Healthcare in Hartford, Kentucky. She was born on Nov. 3, 1926, in Durham, North Carolina, to the late Arthur L. Vess and Olive Theressa Harvey.
Margaret received a master’s degree in musical education. She was a Wesleyan Pastor’s Wife for many years. Margaret and her late husband, Paul Amos Glendenning, were married for 76 years.
Aside from her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Glendenning; two sons, Paul and David Lee Glendenning; and two brothers, Willet and Wesley Vess.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Marian Ray and Sarah Bowers; one daughter-in-law, Roberta Glendenning; and eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
