BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Charles Allen Tunstill, 72, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky (formerly of Logan County, Kentucky) passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, at Greenview Hospital with his family by his side. He was born Jan. 3, 1950, in Greenville, Kentucky, to the late Sherman Smith Tunstill and Jewel Lucille Sandefur Tunstill.
Charles retired from Reed Minerals and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed music, collecting old bottles and, most of all, spending time with his family and friends.
Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pat Gregory.
Charles leaves behind to treasure his memory, his son, Clay Tunstill and his wife, Katherine, of Beaver Dam; two grandchildren, Ivy Elizabeth Tunstill and Curtis Goodrum; one great-granddaughter, Sawyer Goodrum; one brother-in-law, Bob Gregory, of Central City, Kentucky; one nephew, Brian Gregory, of Elkton, Kentucky; and one great-nephew, Derek Gregory, of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Bob Browning officiating. Friends may visit with Charles’ family from 2:30 p.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
