BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Are you ready to rock? I asked, are you ready to rock? You better be because tonight the 80’s will rock the DAM! The 5th Annual ‘80s Rock the DAM Fest is tonight at the Beaver Dam Amphitheater and will feature Quiet Riot, Kix, Bullet Boys and Stephen Pearcy, the voice of Ratt. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the show will start at 6 p.m.
“We are excited (about) the fifth installment of our ‘80s Rock the DAM Fest. This annual event has quickly become a fan favorite, bringing folks to Beaver Dam from all across the states each year. Our new seating model, along with the partnerships we’ve developed for hotel & shuttle packages, promises an unequaled concert experience,” said Becky Geary, executive director of Beaver Dam Tourism Commission.
Heath Eric, with The Eric Group, added, “For Rock the DAM Fest 2022, we are going back to the essence and inspiration for the event, bringing in multiple well-known bands from the ‘80s era that deliver incredible, hard-rocking, entertaining and exciting shows. Stephen Pearcy, the voice of RATT, with his new band playing all the RATT hits and more, headlines in 2022. Quiet Riot, with original member Rudy Sarzo, recently began touring again and are at the top of their game. Fan-favorites KIX and BulletBoys round out the lineup. This is guaranteed to be a night of killer ‘80s rock and good times for all.”

In the interests of safety and security for guests, and for a more efficient entry process at the gate, the Beaver Dam Amphitheater is transitioning to a new clear bags only policy at the Vanilla Ice and Tone Loc ’90s Night Concert.

Current Policy on Bags:
- Large purses or bags of any kind (larger than 14″x14″x6″) are prohibited.
*All bags are subject to search at entry.*
Beginning June 18, 2022:
- Clear bags larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ are prohibited.
- Clutch purses larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″ are prohibited.
- All other bags will be prohibited.
Prohibited items include:
- Chairs with canopies/tops, reclining chairs with footrests.
- Backpacks of any kind, including drawstring
- Banners/flags
- Briefcases
- Car seats
- Coolers of any size
- Drones
- Illegal Substances
- Laser pens/pointers
- Cameras with detachable lenses
- Computers/laptops
- Outside food or beverage
- Cans, bottles, coolers, or other similar containers
- Video cameras or audio recorders
- Laser pens or laser products
- Noisemakers
- Firearms
- Weapons of any kind
- Diaper bags
- Fireworks or any incendiary device
- Animals
- Umbrellas
- Flag poles or any support frames for banners/signs
- Balloons
- Selfie sticks
- Tents, pop-ups, canopies of any type.
