ELORA, Tenn. — Mae Clark, 66, of Elora, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Butler County, Kentucky, on June 28, 1956, to the late Frank and Nora (Shepard) Smith.

Mae was a devoted member of the Elora Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, watching reality TV, and spending time with her best friend and beloved dog, Henry.

Mae was a dedicated homemaker and taking care of her family was her pride and joy. She will be remembered as a strong, loving, and honest lady.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Laymond, Diane, Ruth, Earl, Billy, and Odell.

She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Clark; children, Shannon Howard, Charlotte (Gabriel) Garcia, Michael Howard, Brian Lindsey, Katie (David) Whitaker, Madelyn, and Willow Whitaker; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, twin-sister, Faye Hudnell, Ruby Phelps, Dale Henderson, Bobby Smith, and Kenneth Smith; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Moore-Cortner Funeral Home 300 1st Ave, NW Winchester, TN 37398, 931-967-2222. Visitation will also be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, July 31, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. A graveside service will be held immediately after the visitation at Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam with Bro. Brent Howard officiating.
