ORLANDO, Fla.— David Ross Calloway, 65, of Orlando passed away peacefully on July 6, 2022, at Advent Health Celebration in Kissimmee, Florida. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on Feb. 15, 1957, to the late Carl and Mary Calloway.
David grew up in Ohio County, Kentucky, and then spent his life traveling, taking cruises, and enjoying the wonders of the world. He loved coming home for extended visits. He had just come home in May for a visit and a family reunion cookout.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Curtis Calloway, Danny Calloway, and Michael Calloway.
He leaves behind to cherish many wonderful memories, his partner of 13 years, Richard Hudnall, of Orlando, Florida; two daughters, Crystal (Sam) Main, and Bobbie Jo Jones, of Owensboro, Kentucky; a brother, Jeff (Debbie), of Hartford, Kentucky; grandkids, Michael (Aliena) Jones, Nathan Main, Jonathan (Anna) Jones, Courtney Jones, and Kate Main, all of Owensboro, Kentucky; great-grandkids, Elizabeth Jones, Waylon Smith, Roscoe Parm IV, and Eli Jones; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Family will be notified.
