HARTFORD, Ky. — The 2022 Ohio County 4-H Exhibit Day is set for Tuesday, July 26 at the Ohio County Cooperative Extension Office. The Extension Office is at 1337 Clay St. in Hartford.

Ohio County’s 4-H Exhibit Day will determine which 4-H exhibits will go on to compete at Cloverville at the 2022 Kentucky State Fair. Registration for Exhibit Day will be from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and exhibit pick-up will be from 2-4 p.m.

The Kentucky State Fair’s entry requirements are that exhibitors must be currently enrolled in Ohio County 4-H. Cloverbuds are not eligible for 4-H entry at the 2022 Kentucky State Fair.

For classes and entry requirements see the Kentucky 4-H State Fair Catalog or click here.

4-H members may enter any 4-H Division, for example, wood science, foods, arts, photography, etc., as long as the 2022 Kentucky State Fair 4-H guidelines and rules for entry are followed. Be sure to read the rules and guidelines carefully.

Multiple entries are allowed, however, you must follow the rules for each division. 4-H projects must have been completed between the dates of Sept. 1, 2021, through July 26, 2022, Exhibit Day. Not all projects completed in 4-H Day Camp and workshops are eligible for entry.

Two tickets will be provided to 4-H members who have projects that advance for entry to the state fair. Additional tickets will available for purchase at $4 per ticket. Tickets may be ordered no later than noon Friday, July 29, at the Extension office.
