MORGANTOWN, Ky. — Angie Kay Henderson Deel, 62, of Morgantown, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Warren County, Kentucky, on Feb. 3, 1960, to the late Harold and Dorothy Phelps Henderson.
Angie worked as a dispatcher for Eagle Industries and Sunshine Trucking. She was a member of Sandy Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to talk on the phone and play softball.
She is preceded in death by her father and brother, William Rozie Henderson.
Angie is survived by her daughter, Katie Nunley (Ty), of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Kyli Nadege, Knox Cole-Thomas, Kace Major, and TC Bradley Nunley, of Bowling Green; mother, Dorothy Henderson, of Bowling Green; siblings, Carolyn McDaniel, of Morgantown, Kennie Henderson (Rhonda), of Morgantown, Shelly Henderson, of Russellville, Kentucky, and Nathan Henderson, of Cromwell, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Charlotte Henderson, of Morgantown; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Wayne McKinney, of Morgantown.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 16, at 2 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Woody Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 15, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
