BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Fanya Lynn Swift, 51, of Beaver Dam, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, at her residence. She was born Dec. 21, 1970, in Butler County, Kentucky, to the late Charles Swift and Maurine Smothers Swift.
Fanya attended White Ridge Baptist Church in Butler County. She worked as a CNA.
Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Edward Swift; brothers, Terry Skaggs and Richard Neal Swift; sister, Kathy Whitlow; and two sisters-in-law, Inis Swift and Sandy Swift.
Survivors include her son, Cody MCIntyre, of Okinawa, Japan; six siblings, Margaret “Cookie” Hudson, of Beaver Dam, Buddy Swift, of Morgantown, Kentucky, Rocky Swift, of Beaver Dam, Brenda Stillwell, of Foley, Alabama, Joe (Shirley) Swift, of Beaver Dam, and Donna Tucker, of Morgantown; one sister-in-law, Barbara Skaggs, of Beaver Dam; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16, Taylor Mine Baptist Church. Friends may visit with Fanya’s family from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church.
