BEAVER DAM, Ky. — Ruth Ellen Stanley passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the age of 95.
She will be fondly remembered by all of those whose lives she has touched. Ms. Stanley was a woman of strong faith and spent her life as a dedicated servant of the Lord. Ms. Stanley is known for the many roles she has fulfilled over the years: teacher, staff of the Glendale Children’s Home, patient representative of Baptist Health Hardin previously known as Hardin Memorial Hospital, volunteer, member of Gilead Baptist Church, member of the Zonta Club of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
She is predeceased by her parents, Fred A. Stanley and Reola Stanley; her brother H.B. Stanley and his wife, Grethel Stanley, Pat Stanley, Charles Harrison, Martha Harrison Crawford; her daughter, Ellen Stanley Miracle; and her grandson, Harold Osborne II.
She is survived by Bill Stanley, Mary Jo Harrison, Brad Stanley, Lisa Stanley, Tyler Stanley, Natasha Stanley, Sloan Stanley, Hart Stanley, Jack Miracle, Bruce Ganon Miracle, Mona Miracle, Ellen Gail Nicole Miracle, Sebastian “Buddy” Miracle, Leslie Cundiff (Patrick); their children, Taylor, Gracelynn, and Robert “Bob,” Stefan Osborne; Bethany Nicole Davis (Brandon); and their children, William “Caleb”, Ryleigh, Aurora, and Contessa.
Funeral service will be 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam, KY. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
